I discovered this really cool app the other day & I just had to share it here on the blog. Ever since I could remember I had this fascination with water color paintings. I loved how the color flowed together forming a picture. Nothing is precise, but it’s all so beautiful. Every time I could pick a medium in art class I would always go straight for the water color paints. The problem? I do not always make the time to sit and paint & to be honest I don’t think I am the best at it. Even though I will never stop learning & painting on my own. I still love watercolor paintings. The solution for someone like me? This new app turns any photo into a watercolor painting. Sign me up! The app is called waterlogue & It’s $2.99 from the app store. I have been playing around with it so much that to me it was totally worth it. So far I have not printed any of these water color images out to see how they look & I have only been putting them on Instagram, but I will be  trying it soon & I will keep you updated on that. Now of course these don’t replace water color paintings from artists, but it’s still a fun app to play around with & have some fun.

 The waterlogue app is super easy to use & it’s very similar to Instagram. The process of simply uploading a photo onto the app & using watercolor filters to create your simple watercolor paintings. It’s seriously that easy. Watch out because it’s super fun, but also super addicting. You have been warned. As you can see I have been pretty addicted & turning the photos off of my phone into watercolors all week…

& last but not least our house from yesterday covered in snow. Here in NC that is almost unheard of & we were so excited to have some fun snow days. What do you think of this app?
