So, our entryway is not fully decorated or even close to done at the moment, but
I couldn’t resist showing you guys a preview of the area with the new piece of furniture
in it. Before we had an antique dresser that was a little too small for the large open area.
After deciding we needed a new entertainment center in our living room,
which you can see {here}, I had the idea to use our old entertainment center in our entryway.
Of course it needed some updating,but we were up for the challenge…
This was our entertainment center before. I wanted to brighten the piece up and really
take advantage of all of the faux drawers this piece had. I have wanted a card catalog
in our house for some time now, & this was the perfect piece to make my DIY card
catalog entryway table out of. By the way this piece was originally bought at Badcock
furniture here in Eastern North Carolina for those who are wondering.
To get rid of the glass front door on the piece we did a quick and simple fix by attaching
a board to the door. After the board was on we glued trim to the door to make it appear
more finished. We filled in the old hardware holes on the doors with wood filler &
the painted the piece with a few coats of Better Homes & Gardens Linen white.
The hardware is from Vandykes {here}. For the labels I simply cut out pieces of paper and
used stamps to number the drawers. To seal the piece I used Annie Sloan clear wax to
give it the perfect clean finish. I’m kind of in love with this little piece now & I can’t
wait to decorate this piece how I want it. For now we just got new lamps from Hobby Lobby
& I have a few things setting there, but I am sure these things will be replaced soon.
Stay tuned for some new decor in this area, but I’m loving the lamps, those are staying!
This lovely terrarium is from Hobby Lobby as well {I’m addicted!}
For now I put some of my white candles in it, but I am wanting
to do something else with this lovely terrarium very soon!

Y la primera prueba de comodidad de ambos coches sería muy fácil: medida (en centímetros) del hundimiento de la parte trasera de los coches al arrancar en parado. Pd.
