I was so excited to find this color! As I was shopping in Lowe’s this week {my fourth visit of the week, yup. They know me by name} I was searching for the perfect color for my new GoodWill find when I came across the heavenly shade of blue called,
Grand Hotel Mackinac Blue.
One of my favorite places in the world is Mackinaw Island. It’s my own paradise, & this color is now my new favorite. I can now make my furniture pieces beautiful with the same color that graces the amazing Grand Hotel on my favorite island in the world.

I really can’t tell you how much I love this color. Promise me you won’t get sick of it.
I love the unique shape of this table. This would make a great nightstand or end table. Lot’s of storage!
I picked hardware to contradict the age of the piece & bring it into modern times with the chrome finish. I love the chrome against the fresh blue. I’m thinking new guest bathroom colors!
The beautiful & Majestic Grand Hotel, Mackinaw Island Michigan
The Grand Hotel is believed to have the longest porch in the world {660 feet!}. & Look at that beautiful blue ceiling over the porch. Love it!
So there is my Grand Hotel Mackinac Blue {by Valspar} end table. I really enjoy looking at this piece.. it’s so lovely. I am sadly selling this piece, but I really must bring this color into my home somewhere. & please, if you ever get the chance to visit Mackinaw Island in northern Michigan.. do it! Hubby & his new toy. Next purchase: Kayak rack for the Jeep. A little too hot here in NC to ride with the back open. yah, about that. Hubby & I have recently found our new passion in life, Kayaking.. such a fun hobby!!
